Ryan Whitson

Welcome to my page! I am a bass trombonist getting my Master’s Degree at The Juilliard School! I am from the San Diego area, but have lived and studied in Cleveland at the Cleveland Institute of Music. Soon I will be living in New York City! I also double on contrabass trombone, tenor trombone, bass trumpet and euphonium!

My videos are mostly etudes and YouTube shorts. My goal is to provide musical interpretations of etudes that are either: 1) not well known, 2) reference videos during music education association auditions (MEA) and 3) to keep as a log of etudes I’ve played through before
