Tylee RSA

Mandla Lee Ndlovu (born 19 September 2001), better known as Tylee Purpgod, is a South African Musician, Songwriter, and Animator. Born and raised in Phalaborwa, South Africa. He taught himself how to write, produce and mix his songs on his foster parent's computer.

Lee completed his Matric in Baranuka Secondary School in 2019, and after 2 gap years (due to COVID19) he enrolled in the University of Free State, in Bloemfontein. He released his first solo EP titled Tyanarchy (2022), in his first undergraduate year at UFS. Which was followed by Tyanarchy 2 in November of the same year.

In 2023, he started the year with the release of multiple EPs including Disposable Dreams, Days Before Tylërism and Lean Betrayal. However, his biggest release of that year was his debut album, titled Naval Hill featuring 18 tracks. The album was co-produced by Riccomentals, Boomerang Kid Beats, AlsBeats, Eskimos, Laurin, Unito and others.
